About Big Print Puzzles

Big Print Puzzles is a small independent site with word searches, sudoku and a few other puzzles set in large print. It is made for people who find the letters and digits of an ordinary puzzle page too small, and for the relatives, carers and activity coordinators who print puzzles for someone else.

Large print is switched on for every page. On screen the cells, letters and digits are bigger; on paper each puzzle fills one sheet with a wide, bold grid. A box under each puzzle switches large print off for anyone who prefers the smaller layout.

The puzzles are made by a program, not by hand, and the site says so. Every one of them is checked by a second, separately written program before it is published. The word lists behind the word searches and the word scramble were written for this site.

We make no claims about what puzzles do for health or memory. They are here because they are a pleasant way to spend half an hour.

Your progress is kept in your own browser. There are no accounts, and nothing you do in a puzzle is sent to us.

There are no invented authors, reviews or ratings on this site. If something on a page is wrong, tell us and it is fixed.
